Corporate finance
Many of our clients require corporate finance services as a result of expansion via acquisition or merger or when an opportunity arises to sell shares in their business.
We have a number of partners, managers and support staff with the necessary skills and experience to undertake corporate finance work for our clients. We appreciate that such work will often need to be performed at short notice and within very tight deadlines.
Due diligence work in respect of acquisitions can be performed to the extent required by our clients and their providers of finance and we will always ensure our reports cover the areas of importance that are discussed and agreed before we undertake the work. Our tax specialists will be involved to ensure that the purchase is dealt with in the most tax beneficial manner for our client, whilst still considering the needs of the vendor.
When we handle a sale on behalf of our clients we ensure that they receive specialist taxation advice so that the sale is structured in the most tax efficient manner. We will work with the appointed solicitors to review the contracts, taxation warranties, trust deeds and accounts warranties. Our aim is to guide and assist our clients during prehaps the most important time they have been in buisness.
We will also advise our clients of all aspects of company and group reconstructions and consider introducing them to specialist sale agents if they are looking for a potential purchaser of their company.
As a firm we have dealt with many acquistions and disposals in recent years and these range from small buisnesses with prices of below £1m to international groups that have been sold for substantial amounts.
