Strategic planning
Strategic planning is essentially asking the following questions of the entrepreneurs involved within a business “where are you now?” “where are you going?” and “how are you going to get there?”. Many individuals start out in business with specific aims and goals but all too often the day to day running of the business becomes priority and the focus on the original goals becomes lost.
Rayner Essex have a number of strategic planners who will work with you either at or away from your business premises to identify the personal and business goals for each owner, what opportunities there are to be fulfilled and agree upon a strategic action plan.
Other areas covered during the day include the development of a marketing plan, analysing the key performance indicators for each part of the business, consideration of the financial models relating to the business, and the exploration of exit strategies.
The sessions very much belong to the business owners and we will be there to help facilitate the session and not to preach or lecture to you on how to run your business. Shortly after the exercise you will receive a strategic plan and offered the chance of regular follow up meetings to monitor progress against the plan, assess how the plan is working against expectations and to see how the plan may need to be amended to take into account new factors.
