Opportunities for Graduate Trainees
We recruit graduates each year for training at both our London and St Albans offices according to current demands. We particularly look for young people with numerate and analytical skills, a strong commitment to learning and high self-motivation. Those who join us are given the fullest opportunity to acquire wide experience and develop their personal skills. Since the structure of the firm is not rigidly departmentalised, trainees have the important advantage of participating at an early stage in all aspects of our work, under close supervision. We encourage initiative and trainees are given their own areas of responsibility just as soon as this is merited. Rayner Essex trainees are fully supported throughout their academic programme with PASS and the structured courses run by the leading tutorial colleges. When it comes to the Professional Examinations, the firm's trainees have regularly achieved impressive results, with several winning regional prizes.

Our working environment is friendly and informal. Trainees can always have access to the partners and we take care to ensure that they feel part of the firm from the day they join us. Various social and sporting events, such as 5-a-side football, a badminton club, golfing, go-karting and ten pin bowling amongst others, helps to reinforce working relationships.
