Rayner Essex can provide a complete bookkeeping service and currently serve a number of clients of varying sizes from sole traders to UK branches of multi national companies turning over millions of pounds.

All clients are provided with a dedicated bookkeeper from the team with the back up and support of a nominated manager and partner. The service can be provided at  times specified by the clients, as frequently as the client requires and undertaken either at clients premises or in our offices.

Each clients' needs are individually assessed to determine how frequently the accounting records need to be recorded.  For some, once a quarter for VAT preparation suffices, for others the information is input on a weekly basis.  We then agree the most appropriate time and place for the work to be done.

Each team member has their own laptop with a number of the most common SME packages installed, and we also have a Sage 50 bureau licence to enable us to undertake the work where the client doesn't already have a software package.
For those clients who want to have simultaneous access to their bookkeeping data we also offer Liberty Online bookkeeping and accounting solutions which can be accessed through the internet anytime, anywhere.  Please take a look at the options and benefits this software offers.

As clients develop and look to take the work in-house we are happy to assist with the transfer of data, to provide relevant training and to be available for on-going support and assistance.
